Com os verbos auxiliares, basta inverter o sujeito e o verbo para se obter a forma interrogativa:
He is your friend. Ele é seu amigo.
Is he your friend? Ele é seu amigo?
She can help John. Ela can ajudar João.
Can she help John? Ela pode ajudar o João?.
Paul likes beer. Paulo gosta de cerveja.
Does Paul like beer? Paulo gosta de cerveja?
Do you like me? Você gosta de mim?
· Note-se que, com o emprego de does, não há a letra s na terceira pessoa do verbo:
She likes apples. Does she like apples?
